Some movies that are addapted from books or comics usualy tend to cut some stuff that the book or comics had in them. Now people though who have read the book and stuff may be a bit shocked/ disapointed by the changes. Some examples include Spiderman, and The Fellowship of the Rings.

Sometimes  when movies are adepted from books, or comics the producers will change the story a bit, sometimes this makes for a more realistic movie while other times it makes it harder for people to understand.  Examples of movies like this include Spiderman, The Hulk, Dare Devil, Ghost Rider, Steel (DC Comics), and the  Batman Movies (mostly how the villians were created).

In Blade 2 he had to face off against a horde of vampire eating vampires called Reapers. Now Reaper vampires were created for the movie and may not be a true vampire species (according to mythology). Whistler has also made a surpizing return in the movie.

Some times movies and even t.v shows tend to present inaccurate information. The Terminator series has the Arnold (T1000) modeled, series classified as cyborges. Even in the first movie though they reveal that while they have human like skin on the outside, that on the inside they are all robot. In essence the Terminators had been wearing"fake skins" and were more like a sentient androids. According to most science ficton though cyborges tend to be seen as something that starts out as something completly organic(ex animal, human, alien) that ends up fused with machine parts. This results in a being that is part organic and part machine.

Other Movie/ TV Trivia.

1928gedisktv.jpeg

1928 was when America came out with the first true Television the General Electric "Octogon".

In 1920, 57% of Hollywood movies billed the female star above the leading man. In 1990, only 18% had the leading lady given top billing.

In the 1940s, the FCC assigned television's Channel 1 to mobile Services(two-way radios in  taxicabs,  for instance) but did not Pre-number the other channel assignments. That is why your TV set has channels 2 and up, but no channel 1.
